A Tribe Called Red’s, critically acclaimed album, We Are The Halluci Nation, is getting a vinyl treatment. Today, the black vinyl record is available for purchase in Canada, in stores and online, along with a limited-edition green and yellow vinyl, which is available at the band’s webstore.
The JUNO-Award winning, Polaris Music Prize Short Listed album has been remastered for the double vinyl, which includes Stadium Pow Wow and Suplex – two songs that were not originally included on the CD.
We Are The Halluci Nation was released on September 16, 2016 to critical acclaim. The record hit #1 on the iTunes Canada Top 200, spent two weeks at #1 on Earshot!, and reached #2 on the iTunes USA Top 200 Electronic chart. We Are The Halluci Nation was also named the #1 record on CBC’s list of the 25 best Canadian albums of 2016. This summer, the group saw the video for Stadium Pow Wow pick up Best Director at the iHeart Radio MMVAs, while their video for R.E.D. won Video of the Year. Earlier this month, the group released the captivating 360° virtual reality music video for their single, Indian City, which can be viewed here, and on the SESQUI app, MERIDIAN VR, exclusively in Canada.
