The Queen’s of Rock finally meet!

After more than 30 years of sharing magazine covers and international stages, two iconic Queens of Rock finally met in person last Saturday. On October 21st, Lita Ford and Lee Aaron performed on a bill together at Club Regent Casino in Winnipeg, Canada.
With warm and mutually complimentary exchanges taking place backstage, Ford and Aaron decided to give the audience an extra thrill by teaming up for a number during Lita’s set. Aaron has often lauded The Runaways as one of her earliest influences. The sold out house went wild when Lee joined Lita onstage for a killer version of the Runaways 1976 hit Cherry Bomb.

Aaron has just completed recording her 14th album – a blues infused contemporary rock CD – which is slated for release in spring 2018 on ILS / Universal. She will also return to Europe to play Germany’s biggest open-air festival Wacken in August 2018.
