Toronto-based folk/noir duo Scarlett Jane have today released a remix of the track “Come Around,” from their 2015 self-titled critically –acclaimed sophomore album. The Poolside Remix was remixed by Nick Fiorucci and S4AD. Fiorucci is best known for his remix work on tracks by Britany Spears, Katy Perry and Celine Dion. “Come Around” is taken from the group’s 2015 self-titled sophomore release. The accompanying music video for the remix of “Come Around” was shot in Los Angeles by director Scott Beardslee and editor Dale Sood of Arts and Rec.
Scarlett Jane are singers Andrea Ramolo and Cindy Doire. In 2013, Stranger earned the group Canadian Folk Music Award nominations for Best Emerging Artist and Best Vocal Group. Their song “Wild Fire” took them to the semi-finals of the prestigious world-wide International Songwriting Competition. Their 2012 debut, Stranger, introduced their remarkable harmonies to the world and subsequent shows led to Exclaim magazine decreeing “Both are accomplished singer-songwriters and fantastic performers in their own right, and together they offer a mean one-two punch.”

In early 2015, Andrea and Cindy returned to the studio to work with producers Colin Cripps and Chris Stringer on what would become the critically-acclaimed album titled Scarlett Jane. Scarlett Jane hit the road to debut their new songs for festival audiences across Canada including Festival D’Ete (Quebec City), Vancouver Folk Festival and the Calgary Folk Festival. In tandem with the release of the “Come Around” remix, Scarlett Jane have announced that they are heading out on an extensive Summer Festival tour across Canada (dates listed below).
