Hamilton’s Arkells proved to be the Music Express Readers’ Top Choice claiming the most votes to win Top Canadian Group and Top Canadian album award for their `Rally Cry’ release in Music Expresss 2019 Readers’ Choice Awards.

Top Male Vocalist award went to Michael Buble while Top Female Vocalist and Top Female Country Artist awards were claimed by Shania Twain who obviously benefited from last year’s major national tour.
Gord Bamford was able to rally his fans to win Top Country Male Vocalist while `Neon Smoke’ was voted Top Country album. Another double winner was Halifax rapper Classified (a/k/a Lucas Boyd) who was voted Top R&B/Rap artist and `Tomorrow Could Be The DayThings Change’’ was selected top Rap/R&B album.
