TORONTO, ON (June 19, 2019) – On the heels of the release of their explosive new single “Panic Attack”, JUNO Award winners The Glorious Sons in partnership with Concerts West/AEG Presents today announced they’re bringing a full-sized stadium show home to Kingston on September 21. The Richardson Stadium headlining concert aptly titled “Our Little Piece Of Work” marks the band’s first hometown show since the sold-out arena date at Leon’s Centre (formerly K-Rock Centre). Tickets for the concert that promises to be a celebration of music, art and community, go on sale to the public beginning Monday, June 24 at 10 a.m. ET.
Offering a snapshot of what’s to come this fall, The Glorious Sons shared the chart-soaring single “Panic Attack” (Black Box), earlier this month delivering a driving, brutally honest track about anxiety’s all-encompassing grip, carried by frontman Brett Emmons’ versatility and abundant stadium-sized voice.

The forthcoming stadium show is yet another milestone in an exciting year for The Glorious Sons who celebrated their first Billboard #1 with “S.O.S. (Sawed Off Shotgun)” – holding the #1 slot on the Active and Modern Rock Charts for 4 consecutive weeks in the U.S. and spending 10 consecutive weeks at #1 at Rock Radio in Canada. Additionally, the CRIA-certified GOLD “S.O.S.” spent a record-setting 64 weeks on the Canadian Rock Radio Charts and is the most spun track of 2019 at Rock Radio in the U.S., firmly planting The Glorious Sons in uncharted territory.
On June 27, the chart-topping band hits the road with The Struts and this summer will play for tens of thousands of fans as the invited guest and direct support for The Rolling Stones on their only Canadian date (June 29). And, on July 7, the group will open for Twenty One Pilots as part of the acclaimed Festival d’été in Québec City.
The Glorious Sons have built an unprecedented grassroots following for their signature brand of “dirty, sweaty rock” (Alternative Press). Their CRIA-certified GOLD debut album “The Union” boasts two CRIA-certified GOLD singles (“Mama” & “Heavy”), while the band’s 2018 award-winning album ‘Young Beauties and Fools’ won the JUNO Award for Best Rock Album, and the celebrated CRIA-certified GOLD single “Everything Is Alright” became their first #1 at the Alternative Radio format. The Glorious Sons’ extensive 2018 touring schedule saw them play 12 different countries across 10 different time zones, including an acclaimed sold-out performance at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto to cap off their North American headline tour.
The Glorious Sons will tour extensively throughout the summer, including performances at Ottawa Bluesfest and Osheaga. They are currently in the studio working on new music with more news to come soon.
