Having been selected as the top male musician by his Cranbrook B.C high school, 18-year old Dawson Rutledge has been encouraged to release his debut eight-track recording titled Today, Tonight And Tomorrow. Rutledge’s unique performance style sees him switch between acoustic and electric guitars while playing a kick drum and tambourine with his feet. His song-writing is Country/Folk oriented, compared by music insiders to that of David Grey and a debut appearance at Cranbrook’s Key City Theatre last July where he previewed a new song, “Mysterious Woman” received positive enough reviews to suggest Rutledge is definitely a talent in the making.
