Multi-Platinum Rock Band The Tea Party Announce Australian Leg Of The Black River Tour

TORONTO, ON – Today, multi-platinum Canadian rock band, The Tea Party announce the Australian leg of The Black River Tour. Starting in San Remo, VIC on June 19 the tour will make 9 stops across Australia before finishing in Adelaide on June 30. The Tea Party have recently released their brand-new single “Way Way Down” in support of their most expansive Australian tour to date.

The band’s previous single, “Black River” was the #1 most added song at Active and Mainstream Rock Radio the week of release, peaked at #3 on Active and Mainstream Rock charts, and Top 5 at Overall Rock charts. The band also just completed the biggest tour of their career; a total of 45 shows across North America. The Tea Party have been nominated for numerous JUNO Awards and have received 22 MuchMusic Video Award nominations including three People’s Choice Awards for Favourite Music Video. They have sold over 1.8 million records worldwide, as well as toured countless times throughout Canada, the United States, Europe, and Australia and are known for their musicianship, unique sound and stage presence.
