The news of the release comes days after bülow picked up the award for Breakthrough Artist of the Year at the 2019 JUNO Awards in London, ON. The nineteen-year-old singer and first-time nominee accepted the prestigious award on Sunday’s live broadcast in front of a packed audience. Ahead of winning her first JUNO, bülow performed a captivating medley of her hit tracks, “Two Punks In Love” and “Not A Love Song” at the annual ceremony. Watch the performance, here.

The EP’s catchy single, “Sweet Little Lies” was written about the idea of creating false realities and escapes. The song last follows last years acoustic hit track, “Two Punks In Love” and is a preview of what fans can expect on the upcoming EP.

Toronto-based bülow has made a name for herself in a short amount of time, most recently making her SXSW debut, as well as winning Breakthrough Artist of the Year at the 2019 JUNO Awards, all in under a week. And just yesterday, it was announced that bülow will be joining this year’s line-up at the Lollapalooza music festival in Chicago.

bülow first burst onto the music scene with the release of EPs Damaged Vol. 1 & Damaged Vol. 2, each instantly resonating with critics and new fans alike.  Damaged Vol. 1 included fan favourite and global hit “Not A Love Song” which to date has clocked over 83 million streams and earned praise as “beautifully crafted” (NME), “pop genius” (Noisey), and a “star in the making” (Pigeon & Planes).  Damaged Vol. 2 included “You & Jennifer, “Honor Roll, and buzzworthy “SAD AND BORED, praised by PAPER as, “the perfect pop study in contrasts, and further confirms bülow as an artist to watch with razor-sharp wit to boot.” As well as HillyDilly calling her “one of the brightest new talents in pop.”  Last year, bülow made a splash on the international festival circuit, appearing at both the Electric Picnic and Reading Leeds festivals in Europe.  Although bülow has only just begun her musical journey her accomplishments stand tall as an impressive flag-bearer of things to come.
