A virtual who’s who of Canadian music talent will assemble Thursday August 15th at Calgary’s McMahon Stadium to performing an Alberta Flood Aid charity concert to raise funds for flood recovery in Southern Alberta.
Artists confirmed to perform at this special event include Nickelback, Loverboy, Tom Cochrane, The Sheepdogs, Randy Bachman, Colin James, Jann Arden, Matthew Good, Corb Lund, Johnny Reid, The Sadies and Ian Tyson. Host of the concert will be TV star Brent Butt. Tickets start at $30 and are available through Ticketmaster (who are waiving all service fees).
“The concert will feature local performers and it will be like a mini festival, “enthused Peter Jurisic, the Chair of Alberta Flood Aid. “This was only an idea 10 days ago, look how far we’ve come in such a short time”.
