Making waves with a long awaited return is BMG artist Tété, who has released his newest single ‘Persona Non Grata,’ after taking a three year break from recording. The French based folk singer, who has sold over half a million copies, has accumulated a large fan base over the span of his 15 year musical career, and has hit the 6,000 capacity of the renowned Zenith arena in Paris twice.
Using his experience touring in Japan, Tété reconnected with the simplicity of playing acoustic sets, which acted as an inspiration for his Solo Sans Sono Tour in early 2016. The tour, which also came as a surprise to his fans, fueled the finalization of his newest album Les Chroniques de Pierrot Lunaire. His intimate, troubadour style combined with the narrative of a man faced with reality is the theme carried throughout the record. ‘Persona Non Grata’, out now, marks the first single off the album, which was released through BMG on October 7.
