(New York, NY) – “Don’t Tell Me How To Live,” the first single from fiery rockers MonsterTruck‘s recently released album, SITTIN’ HEAVY, has driven its way into the Top 30 of the Active Rock radio chart.  Coming in at #29 this week, the track is now in rotation at such stations as WIIL/Chicago, WRIF/Detroit, KSHE/St. Louis, WHXR/Portland, ME, WTPA/Harrisburg, WDHA/Morristown, WBYR/Fort Wayne, IN, KHTQ/Spokane and Sirius/XM and Music Choice nationally.  The single is Top 15 in rotation at all of the aforementioned regional stations.
Of “Don’t Tell Me How To Live,” WIIL PD John Perry declared, “For those that believe that the rock format is on life-support, this is exactly what the doctor ordered – a real rock band with loud guitars and attitude.”  WBYR PD Matt “Gasman” Talluto avowed, “Music is cyclical…and it’s nice to hear a band make Southern Rock relevant again!  Unpolished, raw and great to drink whisky to – the forefathers in Skynyrd and Blackfoot would be proud ofMonster Truck!”  The epic video for the single recently made its exclusive worldwide premiere via Ultimate Classic Rock.  In the band’s native Canada, “Don’t Tell Me How To Live” catapulted into the Top 5 at Canadian Rock radio just three weeks in.
Fresh off a highly-successful run of tour dates in Europe, the United Kingdom and their native Canada, the Truck are now revving up their engines for the first United States leg of their extensive touring cycle.  The dates kick off tonight in Las Vegas at The Joint supporting Volbeat and Black Stone Cherry.  The United States run of dates include such major rock festivals as Welcome To Rockville, Carolina Rebellion, Northern Invasion and Rock On The Range.  In between these festivals, Monster Truck will play a combination of headline shows and support dates with such established artists as Rob Zombie, Volbeat, Shinedown and more respectively, bringing their explosive show to the masses.  Please see below for the itinerary.
In other news, Monster Truck will soon appear on the FOX Sports television channel, filming with them at the Talladega Superspeedway.  This is part of an ongoing relationship with the network, who have been utilizing music from the SITTIN’ HEAVY album during their 2016 NASCAR season.  Monster Truck‘s music has already appeared on HBO, as their raucous track, “The Enforcer,” was featured in promos for The 2016 Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremony; that promo can be viewed hereMonster Truck‘s track “Why Are You Not Rocking” will be featured in this week’s episode of The CW’s “The Vampire Diaries.”

Hamilton, Ontario’s Monster Truck has been championed by the likes of Slash, Twisted Sister’s Dee Snider and Alice In Chains’ Mike Inez and has toured extensively in their native Canada, the U.S., Europe and the UK, touring alongside such massive acts as Alice In Chains, Slash, Nickelback, Deep Purple, ZZ Top, Buckcherry, Alterbridge, Kid Rock.  They have also performed at numerous major music festivals around the world including Download, Bonnaroo, Welcome to Rockville, Rock on the Range and Edgefest and will do so again this year.  Monster Truck is Jon Harvey (vocals, bass), Jeremy Widerman (guitars, vocals), Brandon Bliss (organ, vocals) and Steve Kiely (drums, vocals).
