James Barker Band Premiere Video For Their Single, “It’s Working”

Canadian country group James Barker Band premiered the video for their single, “It’s Working” this morning onVEVO. The video documents the guys while they were on tour with Dean Brody back in April and May of this year. Shot and produced by Pedro Rosa, “It’s Working” gives viewers a glimpse of the band’s electric, high-energy show, as well as all an inside look at life on the road.

“We are really happy to share this collection of memories with our fans, life on road can be daunting at times, but we love every moment,” says James Barker. “Whatever energy our fans bring to our shows, night after night, festival after festival, it keeps us going. A special thank you to Dean Brody for bringing us out on the road with him and sharing the stage.”

The band is set to perform live on the Canadian Country Music Association Awards on Sunday, September 10 and has been nominated for five awards: Single of the Year – Lawn Chair Lazy, Album of the Year – Game On, Rising Star Award, Video of the Year – Chills and Group or Duo of the Year.

Formed in 2013, the James Barker Band consists of James Barker, Taylor Abram, Bobby Martin, and Connor Stephen. Winners of the 2015 Boots and Hearts Emerging Artist Showcase, the band’s first two singles, “Lawn Chair Lazy” and “Just Saying” debuted in the top 10 at Canadian Country radio, with “Lawn Chair Lazy” earning the title of highest charting debut single ever from a Canadian country artist. Recently the band secured the #1 spot at Canadian Country Radio with their single “Chills”, making them the first Canadian band to have a #1 on their debut album. The videos for their three singles also went to #1 on the CMT Canada “Chevy Top 20 Countdown”. Their debut EP, Game On, released via Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company, dropped in April, and they have shared the stage with the likes of Keith Urban, Dierks Bentley, Kip Moore, Brothers Osborne, Dean Brody, High Valley, Tim Hicks and more.
