Lights Brings Her PƎP Tour Across Canada

Lights has announced a 13-date Canadian tour that will bring the alt-pop icon to fans from Victoria, BC, through to Montreal, QC, in Winter 2023. The tour supports her critically acclaimed new album PƎP, which arrived earlier this year via Fueled By Ramen. Joining Lights as support on the run will be world-class drag performer Tynomi Banks

Fresh from a headline run in the USA and further dates across Germany and the UK with pals Arkells, Lights is thrilled to, at long last, embark on her headline run across Canada. “Finally bringing PƎP home; it’s been a while since we did this, said Lights. “Stack your playlists, set to repeat and get ready to sing LOUD with me on the Canadian leg of the PƎP Tour.”

Tickets went on sale to the general public on Friday, October 21st, at 10:00 AM local, but fans can get special access to presale tickets Thursday, October 20th, at 10 AM local.

See below for a full list of dates, or click here for ticket info. Alongside a string of festival dates this past summer, Lights blew her Toronto audience away with a sold-out show at History. Today Lights debuted a string of live cuts from the packed show, affectionally branded as her “PƎP LIVESTRAVAGANZA.” You, too, can be blown away by the performance – check it out here.

PƎP was heralded by early singles “In My Head (ft. Josh Dun),” “Salt and Vinegar,” “Real Thing feat. Elohim,” “Prodigal Daughter.”

The record racked up critical acclaim upon release, with NPR lauding the collection’s “insanely catchy hooks” and tipping the artist as “ready for world domination.” Popcrush raved, “…the LP effortlessly bounds across genres and provides the sonic pep talk we all need,” while Under The Radar attested, “PEP is a gift—cathartic, rebellious, intimate, and alive in its glow.” Single “In My Head (ft. Josh Dun)” premiered via Consequence, who raved about the “anthemic” song and praised the accompanying video, which takes “…the unusual and avant-garde to a new level.”
