Attack Of The Dune Rats – No Traps Required

Australia’s favourite stoner pop band DUNE RATS are thrilled to announce that they will be returning to Canada this spring for a headline tour in support of their acclaimed sophomore LP The Kids Will Know It’s Bullshit. The 9-date tour kicks off in Toronto at The Great Hall on April 19 and includes first-time appearances in St. Catharines, Edmonton, Calgary, Banff and Canmore. Tickets for the tour will go on-sale this Friday March 10 at 10 am local time. For all confirmed tour dates and venue information, please see below.

Produced by FIDLAR’S Zac Carper, The Kids Will Know It’s Bullshit garnered the trio their first #1 debut on Australia’s ARIA album chart, as well as prominent positions on Triple J’s Hottest 100 for their anthemic singles “Bullshit” andScott Green”. Recorded at Head Gap in Melbourne, The Kids Will Know It’s Bullshit is the sound of a band working together with their best mate (Carper) to make rad tunes with hundreds of beers and laughs along the way. In a nutshell, the LP is “a 30-minute anxiety trip of stoner pop”.

No strangers to the global stage, it’s been a non-stop ride since Dune Rats released their self-titled debut album in 2014, which Rolling Stone dubbed an “unassuming statement of intent. No bullshit punk done well.” The album was later released in North America in 2015 via Dine Alone Records. From playing sell-out tours in Australia (including co-headlining with punk legends Cosmic Psychos), to performing alongside The Subways in Europe and besties FIDLAR in North America, the band have had a stunning ascent so far
