CANADIAN TOUR WITH DRAGONETTE
KICKS OFF NEXT TONIGHT
Toronto, ON – November 17, 2015 – Young Empires’ anthemic track, Uncover Your Eyes, has been burning up airwaves – a Top 20 hit at Canadian Alternative Radio. Now, the band is excited to share their eerie video for the song (produced with the financial assistance of MuchFACT, a division of Bell Media Inc www.muchfact.ca). “Your life will never be the same after you see this,” says drummer, Taylor Hill. The group will kick off a run of Canadian tour dates next week with Dragonette. Traveling from Quebec to BC through the end of November and beginning of December, they will share the songs from their debut full-length album, The Gates, with fans across the country. Full dates can be found below.
The Gates is the follow-up to Young Empires’ electro-house infused debut EP, Wake All My Youth, which was met with worldwide critical acclaim when it was released in 2012. Its success kept the band touring non-stop and left little time to write and record. An intensely communal songwriting process birthed the genre-blending songs on The Gates, which was released on September 4th via Pirates Blend.
