Warner Music Canada is celebrating its 50th Anniversary and, as a part of that celebration, the label’s current domestic roster has gone back through the catalogue to record covers of Canadian songs released through the label since 1967.  The resulting collection, titled Covered In Gold 5.0 will be released digitally as “two sides.”

Covered In Gold 5.0: Side B is released today on all digital platforms and features covers performed by Billy Talent, The Sheepdogs, The Washboard Union, Modern Space, The Jim Cuddy Band, The Abrams and Chantale Kreviazuk. See full track listing below.

Covered In Gold 5.0: Side A was released on August 18 and includes covers of songs by Alanis Morissette, Great Big Sea and k.d.lang among others. The full collection of Covered In Gold 5.0 tracks will be released as a double vinyl album on Black Friday, November 24. A history of Warner Music Canada will be included as an insert in the album.
