(Toronto, ON – January 26, 2016) THE SHEEPDOGS have added more dates to their upcoming Canadian tour including Sydney, NS, Charlottetown, PE and a second show in Halifax. Both Toronto dates are now sold out. The tour in support of their new album FUTURE NOSTALGIA kicks off in Montreal, QC on January 29th hitting over 30 markets across Canada. Joining the band on tour is Montreal-based quartet Beat Cops featuring members from Priestess, the Stills, Trigger Effect and Les Breastfeeders. See below for details on the new dates and a full routing.
Future Nostalgia is the highly anticipated follow-up to The Sheepdogs’ 2012 award-winning self-titled LP. The lead single from the new album, “Downtown”, was the #1 most added track and also a Top 5 hit at Canadian rock radio for 10 weeks. New single “I’m Gonna Be Myself” has already climbed into the Top 10. The new video is directed by Sean Cartwright and pays homage to motorcycle movies from the 60’s and 70’s (special cameo by Ryan Gullen’s recently built Chopper!)  Watch + share the video here.  Keep an eye on thesheepdogs.com for more announcements.
