The Dead South Make Triumphant Return to Toronto December 13 and 14

Hot on the heels of “In Hell I’ll Be In Good Company” reaching an astonishing 36 million views on YouTube in the past 12 months, The Dead South will return to Toronto for two shows. The first stop is at the legendary Horseshoe Tavern on December 13 followed by Lee’s Palace on Thursday December 14both in support of their current album Illusion and Doubt.

Comprised of Nate Hilts (lead vocals, guitar, mandolin), Scott Pringle (guitar, mandolin, vocals), Eliza Doyle (banjo), Erik Mehlson (cello) and Danny Kenyon (cello, vocals), The Dead South have put their own spin on traditional bluegrass music and become known for their stellar performances and musicianship. Voted “Best Band” in Prairie Dog Magazine’s “Best of Regina” in 2015, the band have proven to be a powerhouse and their fans can’t get enough. The Dead South are passionate about their music creating a unique sound that is fun and somewhat tongue-in-cheek.
