Shiplett spent the earlier part of the year as direct support for Reid on the 47 show, 35 cities “What Love Is All About Tour”. He quickly gained momentum with the release of “The E.P.” – a perfect testament to his range and depth as an artist, and a record that couples outstanding songwriting, showcases the Alberta-born artist’s musical creativity, and celebrates his honest lyricism backed by his powerful and unique voice. Often compared to Chris Stapleton and Bruce Springsteen, Shiplett has already captured the attention of music fans across the country, and under the watchful eye of HALO Entertainment Group and Warner Music Canada, he is destined for great things.
