OFF THE BOAT – NOW EUROPE BOUND

OFF THE BOAT – NOW EUROPE BOUND

Kitchener, Ontario alternative pop/rock band Courage My Love just got off the boat. Literally.  The band sailed the high seas recently as fan-voted performers on the Vans Warped Rewind at Sea Cruise which took bands (Good Charlotte, Simple Plan and more) and fans from New Orleans to Cozumel, Mexico aboard the Norwegian Pearl luxury liner.

Now that the group has their feet on terra firma, they’re getting their laundry done and bags repacked to head back over to the U.K. for 11 dates beginning on November 21, in Birmingham, England.  In addition to those dates, it was announced earlier today that Courage My Love are set to join As It Is and WSTR for the okayEU Tour through Europe this Spring.  All upcoming CML dates are listed below.

Courage My Love are on tour in support of their latest album Synesthesia.

In their review of Synesthesia, New Noise Magazine calls Courage My Love “an original gem shining like a million fireflies.”

Recorded in Toronto at Noble Studios and Pocket Studios, Synesthesia introduces a new arsenal of sounds for the Kitchener, Ontario, based trio who have made a name for themselves and built a strong following on a number of tours across North America and Europe.

Defined as a blending of the senses where the stimulation of one sense leads to an automatic, involuntary reaction in another, like hearing in colour, Synesthesia was titled to reflect Courage My Love’s newfound stylistic maturity.

Courage My Love are twin sisters Mercedes Arn-Horn (vocals/guitar) and Phoenix Arn-Horn (vocals, drums, synths) along with bassist Brandon Lockwood. In 2011 the band made their major label debut with the EP For Now and Alternative Press magazine touted them as one of the Top 100 Bands You Need To Know.  In 2013 the band released their sophomore EP, Becoming, and were nominated for a JUNO Award for Breakthrough Group of the Year.  The band were also featured on the cover of Canadian Musician Magazine as a band on the forefront of communicating with fans through social media.  Courage My Love videos have amassed over 8 million views on Youtube.
