MONSTER TRUCK PREMIERE POLITICALLY-EMPOWERING ANIMATED VIDEO

Hard rockers Monster Truck are proud to premiere their brand new music video for “For The People,” a politically empowering yet non-partisan track from their recent album, SITTIN’ HEAVY.  Click here to check out the animated companion video for the classic roots rock-inspired song advocating power to the people; see above for a screenshot from the video.  Of the “For The People” video, Monster Truck lead singer/bassist Jon Harvey commented, “We wanted the video to capture a certain vibe.  The song was intended to be a pseudo-protest and very roots rock and the 70s animation seem to speak to that.  Besides nothing is cooler than hand-drawn animation.  The illustrators and animators executed it perfectly.”  The “For The Pepole” video is illustrated by Brett Lamb, Leslie Supnet and Eric Kim and is animated by David Mayzis, Les Solis and Greg Zajac.  The director is Kyle Griblin.
Monster Truck have just wrapped up a massive world tour in support of SITTIN’ HEAVY.  Monster Truck toured the United States earlier this year, with dates that included major rock festivals Welcome To Rockville, Carolina Rebellion, Northern Invasion and Rock On The Range as well as a combination of headline shows and support dates with Rob Zombie, Volbeat and Shinedown.  The band will return to the United States early next year and is already confirmed to tour their native Canada supporting Billy Talent beginning in February, 2017 and then to headline the United Kingdom in late March, 2017.  Please see below for dates.
8c49a553-65fa-423f-bf11-8ef31188242e“Don’t Tell Me How To Live,” the first single from Monster Truck‘s SITTIN’ HEAVY, peaked in the Top 25 at Active Rock radio and was seated there comfortably for months.  The epic video for the single made its exclusive worldwide premiere via Ultimate Classic Rock.  In the band’s native Canada, “Don’t Tell Me How To Live” catapulted into the Top 5 at Canadian Rock radio just three weeks in.
Monster Truck‘s album SITTIN’ HEAVY has received rave reviews with Amps And Green Screens referring to it as “”…one of the best albums of 2016…when you hear what they’ve laid down on SITTIN’ HEAVY you will get down and thank whatever Gods you pray to that you were in the presence of greatness.”  The Dedicated Rocker Society avowed “In a word, this album is infectious.  SITTIN’ HEAVY has a unique groove-centered sound that’s difficult to categorize but impossible to get out of your head…This is ass-kickin’, gutsy rock n’ roll…”  .
