‘We Are One’ Hits Canadian Country Radio As #1 Downloaded Canadian Single Upon Release

April 23, 2020 (Toronto, ON) – Just one week after the release of ‘We Are One’, the lead track from Jason McCoy’s collaborative initiative We Are 1 World, the official video has spread across the globe, amassing an impressive 25K views, while the single hit Canadian country radio as the #1 Canadian download upon release.

Musicians and singers around the world are encouraged to participate by visiting the official We Are 1 World website to watch the video, learn the song, then download the lyrics and one of three versions of the backing tracks for free. Once they have recorded and performed their own version, they are invited to share across their own social platforms, using the hashtag #weare1worldsong. The goal of the initiative is to have as many different versions, in as many languages as possible, shared around the world. To encourage the greatest spread of the song, We Are 1 World has partnered with Long & McQuade to randomly select one lucky participant to receive a $100 Long & McQuade gift card.
