Corey Hart To Be Inducted In To The Canadian Music Hall Of Fame At The 2019 Juno Awards / New Music Available May 3, 2019

In an announcement released earlier today, Warner Music Canada recording artist and Canadian musical icon Corey Hart was named the latest inductee to the Canadian Music Hall Of Fame.  Corey’s induction will take place during the 2019 JUNO Awards broadcast on CBC TV from London, Ontario on March 17, 2019.  In conjunction with this incredible news, Corey has released “Dreaming Time Again” as the first single from his forthcoming EP of the same name.  The Dreaming Time Again EP will be released May 3, 2019 and is Corey Hart’s first collection of new studio music in over 20 years.  Fans can pre-order/pre-save Dreaming Time Again HERE.

In addition to the release of the single, Corey has produced a touching accompanying video for “Dreaming Time Again” in which Hart takes a heartfelt tour of Cuba with his fourteen-year-old son Rain.  The ending is particularly poignant as it depicts an emotional dialogue scene between father and son having spoken entirely in Spanish (with English subtitles).  Corey is trilingual and normally converses with his son only in Spanish.  The video was directed by the talented editor/filmmaker Peter Guzda who also worked on Hart’s “Another December.”

“Peter is one helluva talent – we immediately connected as two symbiotic creative forces, much like I did back in the day with the legendary Rob Quartly – Hart said.

This past November, Corey Hart announced that he would be heading out on a national tour of Canada in support of Dreaming Time Again.  The 17 date Never Surrender Tour kicks off on Corey’s birthday (May 31st) in St. John’s, NFLD.  This will be Corey’s first arena tour since 1986.  Each ticket purchased for the Never Surrender Tour comes with a digital copy of Corey’s new EP when it’s released May 3, 2019.  Tickets available HERE

Having sold over 16 million records worldwide by amassing 9 consecutive US Billboard Top 40 Hits and scoring an impressive 32 top 40 singles in his native Canada (Including 13 – Top 10 Hits), Hart is a Grammy-nominated ASCAP, multiple Juno and Quebec ADISQ award winner, and was inducted into Canada’s prestigious Walk Of Fame in 2016 by his longtime pal tennis champion Chris Evert.
