Classified Premieres New Track “Rap Shit” Featuring Dax And Snak The Ripper

“Pick Your Poison” EP due out April 10

Celebrated Canadian hip-hop artist and producer Classified is pleased to announce today’s release of “Rap Shit” featuring DAX and SNAK THE RIPPER, from his forthcoming EP “Pick Your Poison” out April 10 via Half Life Records/Universal Music Canada.
Featuring DAX, a Hip Hop artist with a huge YouTube presence of more than 1.4 million subscribers and SNAK THE RIPPER a well-known rapper from Westminster, BC, “Rap Shit” serves as the first new track from Classified’s forthcoming EP “Pick Your Poison” and is the first of many big releases to come this year from an artist who celebrates a 20-year career as one of Canada’s premier rappers.

“It’s hard to think of what to say about dropping a new song or a new project when I’ve dropped so many over the years; and have said pretty much everything I can about dropping something new,” Classified tells HipHop DX.  “I just know when I made this beat, it hit me – every time I hear it, I like it more.  I wrote some classic rap shit on it and asked a couple of friends to get on it with me.  I hope you like. There’s more to come.”
Most recently, the Nova Scotia native was nominated for a 2020 JUNO Award for Rap Album of the Year.  Classified wrapped the highly-praised, national headlining Canadian Classic Tour last fall, which saw him take over venues across the country with special guests and Canadian hip hop legends Choclair and Maestro Fresh Wes, performing tracks old and new for legions of fans.

Tomorrow Could Be The Day Things Change (October 2018), marked Classified’s first full-length release in two years, covering topics steeped in cultural relevance and delivering the innovative and genuine narrative fans expect from one of the country’s most respected rappers.
