(April 8, 2016 – Toronto, ON) Barenaked Ladies have announced they will be releasing their upcoming live album BNL Rocks Red Rocks on May 20. Recorded at the fabled Morrison, CO amphitheater in June during the Ladies’ Last Summer on Earth 2015, BNL Rocks Red Rocks captures the rock icons’ incredible live energy, camaraderie, and musicianship that stand as a testament to the band’s remarkable longevity in an ever-changing pop/rock landscape. The live LP features some of the multi-platinum band’s biggest hits “One Week,” “Pinch Me, “If I Had $1,000,000” plus songs from their last two records including “Odds Are” (Top 20 at Canadian AC radio), and the most recent single “Duct Tape Heart” from their latest studio album SILVERBALL. The record includes a special moment when Barenaked Ladies bring Colin Hay to the stage to perform his #1 hit “Who Can It Be Now”, joined on stage by Blaise Garza of Violent Femmes to cover the famed saxophone solo, recognized around the world!

Commenting on the experience of performing at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Ed Robertson says, “It’s amazing to step out onto that stage and get to look up at those rocks, while the people in the audience look out on the city of Denver in the distance. We have played in a lot of venues and there are very few places that are as fantastic as Red Rocks.”
Last Fall the band embarked on an extensive cross-Canada tour in support of Silverball which Sun Media called “…their most musically and lyrically upbeat outing…”, while Hello!
