Roman started his writing career in 1977, first contributing to the University of Toronto newspaper Medium II, later to become the entertainment editor and landing interviews with the likes of Burton Cummings and Steve Miller. Since graduating in 1978, Roman has spent 30+ years contributing to various magazines such as Music Express, Rock Express and the Wal-Mart Profile.
