ALEXISONFIRE: Box Set Christmas Release

Dine Alone Records / New Damage and Alexisonfire are set to release the official AOF
vinyl box set. Limited to 1,000 copies, the very special discography will be available for purchase at 12:01AM
EST on December 25 at Alexisonfire’s official website theonlybandever.com.

Over a year in the making, the custom-designed box set includes audiophile re-pressings of each AOF studio
release, as well as coveted and long out-of-print EPs (details listed below). The box set will also feature other
exclusive items including a photo booklet curated by photographer Dustin Rabin with photos taken during the
band’s final shows in Toronto and Hamilton, Ontario in December 2012. Special custom-shipping packaging has
been designed to protect the box set contents.

AOFBoxSetRecently, George Pettit, Dallas Green, Wade MacNeil, and Jordan Hastings sat down on camera at Dine Alone
HQ to chat about each release and their favourite AOF memories. (Chris Steele, who is travelling around the
world, was there in spirit.) These videos will be updated regularly on theonlybandever.com along with a sneak
peak of images of the box set contents leading up to the release, so fans are encouraged to check back often.
Guitarist/Vocalist MacNeil will also be tweeting memories and stories daily at twitter.com/aof_official leading up to
the release date.

Hailing from St. Catharines, Alexisonfire rose up out of the Southern Ontario underground in late 2001, to become
one of the most successful indie bands in Canada. The band’s success also reached far beyond Canada’s
borders. AOF released four hugely successful studio albums, Alexisonfire (2002), Watch Out (2004), Crisis
(2006), and Old Crows / Young Cardinals (2009). Crisis debuted at #1 on the Top 200 Soundscan chart
(Canada), and Old Crows / Young Cardinals debuted at #2, and charted at #9 on the US Billboard Independent
Album chart.

Watch Out helped earn the band New Group of the Year at the 2004 JUNO Awards. Their first 3
albums achieved Platinum certification in Canada while Old Crows / Young Cardinals reached Gold certification.
The band also topped charts and graced several notable music magazine covers internationally (Kerrang, Blunt,
Big Cheese, Canadian Musician, Exclaim!). AOF’s sold-out 10th Year Anniversary Farewell tour in December
2012 touched down on four continents in 24 days, illustrating how meaningful the band still is to their legion of
fans around the world.
